Located in 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street of Hanoi city, Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts is one of the biggest centers for maintaining and promoting Vietnamese cultural, artistic heritages.

With a total area of 4737 square meters and professional staffs, Vietnam Fine Arts museum has greatly done its jobs in art work conservation and preservation.

Most importantly, the museum has a great collection of Vietnamese fine art masterpieces and this is the favourite place for international tourists on Vietnam tours.

The two buildings with French colonial architecture are chosen to display Vietnamese cultural, artistic heritages from prehistorical to modern periods. The 1st floor of the main buiding displays Vietnamese art works from prehistocial preriod to 18th century. These preriods are famous for the art of bronze, stone, wood carvings. Especially, wooden statues are coated in lacquer. The 2nd floor is used to house the most famous lacquer paintings by Vietnamese artists. These masterpieces highlight art tours in Vietnam. Many beautiful oil paintings are shown on the 3rd floor.

All art works of other ethnic groups are displayed on the 2rd floor of the side building and the ground floor is used to display all old traditional ceramics works. Vietnam fine arts museum is the top destionation for art tours in Vietnam.

Opening time: 8:30 - 17:00 Everyday(closed on Monday); 8:30 to 21:00 on Wednesday and Saturday.
