Admission entry to attractions in Tam Coc
Tam Coc Bich Dong is a national key ecotourism site, with a system of caves and
limestone mountains and the historical relics of Tran Dynasty. Coming to Tam Coc
visitors will get sightseeing tours, explore by water way and road to see the
mountains and rivers, all surrounded by overlapping mountains creating a
mysterious natural scenery.
Travel to Tam Coc Bich Dong in May - June, visitors will be able to see the
golden fields, blooming in the midst of green mountain. This place has a special
terrain of creator, with a natural area of 350 ha. Tam Coc is considered as Ha
Long Bay on land, with many beautiful places.

- Boat services: 150.000 VND / Trip / Boat.
As the boats rowers usually sell souvernirs on boat it would be a good idea to
buy something from them, otherwise some tip is recommended, about 50.000 VND per
person is appreciated.
The above fees allow travelers to explore nearly 20 destinations by walking,
cycling, padding boat. With many attractive routes you are guaranteed to have
beautiful memories and unforgettablemoments. During the tour you should not miss
the dishes such as Ninh Binh mountain goat, burnt rice or Kim Son wine, eel
noodles, Yen Mac rolls, roasted fish...and many other souvenir items.

Travel to Tam Coc in Ninh Binh

Explore the Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist site
Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist area has a natural area of about 350ha; It is about
2km from National Highway 1A, about 7km from Ninh Binh city. There are many
routes by boats, bicycles and roads that connect approximately 20 destinations.
There are main routes such as:
Tam Coc - Thai Vi temple - Thien Huong cave
Tam Coc means "three caves", including Ca cave (127m long), Hai cave (60m long),
Ba cave (50m long). All three caves are formed by the Ngo Dong River pierced
through the mountains. Tam Coc's scenery varies from season to season, such as
the green rice, golden rice or the silver of the river. Coming to Tam Coc any
time visitors can admire the beautiful scenery.
Thai Vi temple is a place for worshiping the Tran dynasty emperors such as Kings
Tran Thai Tong, Tran Thanh Tong...It is also worshiping generals such as Tran
Hung Dao, Tran Quang Khai...Thien Huong cave is a dry cave with a height of 60m,
40m deep and 20m wide. Inside is a shrine dedicated to Tran Thi Dung, King Ly
Hue Tong's wife.
Bich Dong means "blue cave", located 2km from Tam Coc wharf. Bich Dong is known
as "Nam Thien de nhi dong", which means the second most beautiful cave in
Vietnam. In front of the cave is a branch of the Ngo Dong river, bending on the
side of the mountain, across the river is rice paddies. Besides, there is also
Bich Dong Pagoda, an ancient temple with Asian style.
Xuyen Thuy cave is like a semi-circular stone tube about 350m long curved from
east to west. Stepping into the cave visitors will see the flat cliffs, arches,
semicircles with many shapes and sizes.
Tien Cave is the most beautiful dry cave of Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist site.
Entering visitors will be truly overwhelmed by a masterpiece created by nature.
There are many rocks, stone stalactites hanging down with sparkling colors. On
the ceiling are many bats and birds living. Looking in from outside, Tien cave
is like a magnificent castle.
Linh Coc Temple is a pagoda located in the Moc mountain. The temple faces west,
in front of which there is a field of water. The courtyards are spacious and
cool with lots of ornamental trees around them. Standing in the temple visitors
feel the strange peace.
