Vietnam stretches over 1650 km along the eastern coast of the Indochinese Peninsula with a wide range of latitudes and altitudes, so Vietnam has a remarkably diverse climate. Thanks to different climate in different areas, there are always places for your Vietnam holidays.

The North: The cold season is sometimes wet and chilly between November and April when temperature is around 60° F / 16° C. In the hot period, between May and October, the average temperature is about 86° F/ 30° C.

The Central: The hot season is about 2°C or 3°C hotter than the north temperature. Its rainy season falls in between September and December. Especially, the central is sometimes hit by typhoon with strong wind and heavy rain.

The South: The temperature in the south is constant all year, ranging from 77-86° F/ 25-30° C. The dry season is from November to April and the wet period from May to October.

The Chinese new year of Tet is celebrated all over Vietnam in late January or early February. During this time, transport options fill up quickly and lots of restaurants and tourist sites are closed. Therefore, it is not recommended to travel to Vietnam then.
