Cat Ba is the second biggest island in Vietnam and the largest one in Ha Long Bay. Half of its 140 km2 area is covered by a National Park, home to the highly endangered Cat Ba golden-headed Langur who is rarely seen. About 100 members are thought to survive in the wild.
